Sugar-Free Raw Cranberry Sauce

This is a perfect compliment to a holiday meal. No cooking here which saves stove top space in a busy kitchen. Just pop these ingredients into a food processor and blend.

Cranberries are an amazing food and what makes this sauce special is that it’s kept raw so its medicinal effect are at their maximum. It can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.


12-oz             fresh cranberries, rinsed and picked over

4 tbsp             honey

2 tsp               fresh lemon juice

½  tsp             ground cinnamon

2                     medium apples, peeled, cored, and cut up


1. In a food processor fitted with a S-blade, pulse cranberries, honey, lemon juice and cinnamon until coarsely chopped.

2. Add apples and continue to pulse until smooth. Taste, adding additional honey, if desired.

3. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes 3 cups (750 mL).
