Sugar-Free Cranberry Sauce

This recipe is from my second book, Slimming Meals That Heal. It is a perfect compliment to a low carb holiday meal.
To watch me make this recipe, check out my Meals That Heal TV segment on my Facebook Live Video Stream.

2 cups           fresh cranberries, rinsed
30-40 drops  stevia liquid  (to taste)
1/2 tsp           ground cinnamon
1 cup             water
1 tbsp            ground chia seeds
1. Heat a medium saucepan over medium heat and add the cranberries and water. The cranberries will burst and this should take about 8 minutes.
2. Remove from heat, and stir in the chia seeds and liquid stevia.
3. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl or mason jar.
4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes 2 cups. It can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
Total carbs per 2 tbsp =2 grams of carbs compared with regular cranberry sauce =13 grams.
